For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. -Romans 12:4-5

Declaration of Unity & Diversity
Huntington University believes that God created everyone in His image. Rooted in Scripture and following the core doctrine of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, we respect unity amidst diversity. Regardless of ability or appearance, color or creed, gender or geography, hometown or heritage, voice or vocation, we are all created by God. Therefore, in obedience to Christ and as Foresters, we will love, learn from, respect, stand alongside, protect, rejoice with, and grieve with one another. We reject biased apathy, willful ignorance and silent fear. We acknowledge our fallen nature and the failures that divide us; therefore, we seek God’s grace and mercy and we strive to embody the example of Christ. It is our purpose and responsibility to foster an environment that reflects the unity of the Body of Christ and honors the eternal value of all people.

The Multicultural House
The Multicultural House at Huntington University is dedicated to advancing cultural engagement by fostering an inclusive environment where a wide variety of cultural perspectives are valued and celebrated. As a center for education, dialogue, and community, the house exists to cultivate understanding across cultural boundaries and promote mutual respect among all members of the university community. Through intentional programming and collaborative initiatives, the house provides a space for all university students (ex. student organizations, residence life units, small groups, book study groups) to expand their global awareness and deepen intercultural competence. In doing so, the Multicultural House plays a vital role in preparing students to engage thoughtfully and responsibly in a diverse and interconnected world.

HU has opened my eyes to a completely different environment and different experiences, and I really appreciate everyone here and how they treat international students.
