Graduate Spotlight: Inah Fern Miller

Maia Martinez
When Inah Fern Miller first began her studies, she didn’t have a clear path in mind — only deep desire to work with people from different cultures, especially within the Arab world. That passion had guided her journey ever since.

Today, Inah serves as a full-time teacher at an Islamic school in Northern Indiana, where she teaches 4th, 5th, and 6th grade English and social studies. All her students are English language learners, allowing her to combine her love for teaching with her heart for cross-cultural ministry.

Reflecting on her time as a Christian Thought & Practice student, Inah shares that her favorite part was the strong bond she built with her classmates and professors.

“We all went through our PRIME internship together, and that was definitely a highlight,” Inah said. “I got to go overseas to the Middle East for seven months and experience God working and moving in that place. Then I got to come back and finish school with some of my favorite people!”

Inah carries with her a verse — John 14:6 — that continues to center her faith and calling: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.’”

“In a world with so many different beliefs, I always come back to this truth to hold fast to.”
