Huntington University graduate Blake Mast, who majored in missions, is now serving as the pastoral resident at Mt. Pleasant UB Church in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The opportunity was first shared with him by Todd Fetters and, as Mast described, seemed pretty exciting.

Beyond his time at HU, Mast will also begin pursuing his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in January.

“It was phenomenal,” Mast reflected on his time in the Christian Thought & Practice Department. “I loved it! My favorite experiences were the lasses, especially senior year with courses like Systematic Theology and Ministry Skills.”

He also highlighted his PRIME internship in Denver, Colorado, calling it a life-changing experience.

“I’m glad the department gave that opportunity,” Mast said.

Mast’s favorite Bible verse is John 10:10.
