Joe Mertz Center hosts April blood drive

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Huntington University's Joe Mertz Center for Volunteer Service will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 17 in the upper level of the Habecker Dining Commons on campus.The Joe Mertz Center hosts four blood drives each year in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
Individuals who donate have the opportunity to enter in a campus wide drawing of a $25 gift certificate and an iPod touch.
Individuals who are interested in donating blood may register online at www.givelife.org or in person in the dining commons at Huntington University. Walk-ins are also acceptable, but everyone participating must have a photo ID. The blood drive is open to the public.
The JMC is also asking for volunteers to help on the day of the drive.
