HU’s adult degree program to host open house in Columbia City

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. Huntington University's adult degree program will host an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 5 at the Columbia City campus, located at 220 Frontage Road in Columbia City.

This free event is open to adults interested in pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree through the one-night-a-week or online format. Refreshments will be provided.

Attendees will have an opportunity to find out how to earn college credit for their work experience, ask staff members questions about the program and attend a portion of a class. In addition, Huntington University will waive the $20 application fee for anyone who completes an application at the event.

Huntington University's adult degree programs are offered in Columbia City, Huntington, Fort Wayne and online. Classes are offered in an accelerated five-week format with classes held one night a week, tailored to the schedule of working adults.

The adult degree program offers certificate, associate and bachelor's degrees in the following majors: TESOL/EL, Christian ministry, organizational management, accounting, business administration, human resource management, marketing, not-for-profit leadership, nursing (RN to BSN), criminal justice, psychology and social work.

The next classes will start in July.
