Why study art therapy?

Studying art therapy provides an approach using the creative process with therapeutic techniques to enhance well-being, and/or promote healing. It is used to address a wide range of issues, from managing stress and anxiety to working through trauma or developing social skills. Art therapy can be used with people of all ages. The minor can enhance chosen career options or prepare students for graduate programs in art therapy.
