"I am interested in..." series. Exploring ways you can translate your interests into college majors.

In this “I am interested in…” series, we are exploring ways you can translate your interests into college majors.

Picture yourself as a content creator or performer sometime in the not-too-distant future. Don’t worry about what you have created or performed yet — just imagine a moment when you are happy and proud of what you have accomplished. A time when you have that warm and fuzzy feeling that comes from knowing you’ve just put something wonderful into the world for other people to see and experience. A time when you can see your own name written alongside the content creators and performers you currently admire.

Do you have that mental picture? Good.

Now tell me…where are you, and what are you seeing? Find the situation you are picturing among the quotes listed below, then take a look at the Huntington University majors (listed beneath each quote) that can prepare you to experience that moment in real life. You can learn more about each of the majors listed below on Huntington University’s website.

If you are interested in content creation or performance, finding the right college major for you will depend on the type of content or genre of performance that interests you the most. Odds are, you already have an idea of what you want to do because you know what content you like to see as an audience member. Or you may already be a content creator.

Take that interest, pick a major that will equip you to produce your own content in bigger and better ways, then get creating!
